October Newsletter

The mission of Atoka Elementary is to provide opportunities for student excellence and to encourage student academic growth, ensuring a strong foundation as lifelong learners.

The first nine-weeks period is coming to an end, and report cards will be sent home October 25th. Please make an appointment to meet with your child’s teacher during conferences if you have questions or concerns.

We would like to say a big “thank you” to our PTO volunteers who have been involved in planning our Fall Carnival and other fundraising efforts this year. We cannot thank you enough for all you do for ATES. Our goal this year is to equip each classroom with an iPad. The students will be learning how to use these devices, which act as a 4th computer in every classroom. Our goal is to help prepare them for the future and the ever changing world of technology. Thanks to everyone for your support in our improvement efforts.

                        Dr. Rebekah Byrd, Principal
